Our Story

Have you ever wanted to try something cool, new, and unique to yourself? Have you ever wanted to do something that completely or partially expresses your creative self? This is how XY Soap Company came into existence.  

I am a black woman with locs who has spent 32 years working full time in the field of Women’s Healthcare. You think I started XY Soap Co to combat dry skin from the constant use of hand sanitizer; or to soothe aching feet; or to naturally moisturize locs; or just simply because black women are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs? No.  

I started XY Soap Co because when I'm away from working full-time Healthcare, I get to be creative. I love the way oils and lye come together to make soap. I love all the ways you can creatively express yourself through soap making. You can play with ingredients, formulas, techniques, colors, scents, shapes, additives...the list goes on and on. 

We specialize in exfoliation and novelty soaps. We make products that are dedicated to renewing and rejuvenating the skin and that bring joy to the art of gifting. Our exfoliating bar soaps are meticulously handcrafted in small batches using the cold method process. We use quality ingredients, and each bar has its own unique soap exfoliant. Our bars are designed to shed away dead skin cells, leaving the skin refreshed and rejuvenated giving an experience of renewal each time it’s used.
